Testovací sada SAFE 400 pro detektory oxidu uhelnatého je určena k testování funkčnosti detektorů oxidu uhelnatého (CO). Sada se skládá z plechovky s testovacím plynem, kapilární trubičky a praktického fóliového sáčku, který plní funkci izolačního pouzdra. Detektory CO nespouští okamžitý poplach. Senzory CO jsou překalibrovány tak, aby detektor CO spustil poplach od určité koncentrace CO. Izolační pouzdro se používá k tomu, aby se testovací plyn nerozptýlil, ale naopak vytvořil konstantní úroveň plynu, která bude mít za následek aktivaci poplachu detektoru v přiměřeném časovém intervalu. Izolační pouzdro tak umožňuje udržet účinné množství kalibračního plynu simulujícího oxid uhelnatý v okolí senzoru během procesu testování.
Place the CO detector in the foil insulation sleeve. Place the included capillary tube on the plastic atomizer. Insert the tube into the insulation sleeve with the detector and seal the sleeve by tightening the ends of the cords around the perimeter of the insulation sleeve. Do not remove any air that remains in the housing. Pull out the capillary tube and reseal the housing by tightening the cords. The detector sensor should sound the alarm within 3 minutes. If the detector does not alarm, repeat the test after 15 minutes.
