A new generation of wireless flammable and explosive gas detector designed for the detection of Methane (CH4) based hazards such as natural gas, biogas, CNG, LPG, mine gas etc. The purpose of the detector is to provide early warning of an imminent danger of a leak of flammable and explosive gases in the monitored area. The device is equipped with relay and pulse output, which allows its easy integration into third-party alarm and automation systems. This allows you to connect and control external devices such as automatic gas shut-off valves, alarm annunciators or fans for space ventilation. The detector can operate as part of a FireSAFE fire alarm system with the support of the FireSAFE Hub central control unit or completely autonomously. SAFE 5YGAS - RF is powered by a safe 12V DC voltage via the 230V / 50Hz mains power supply included in the package.
The integrated semiconductor sensor of the wireless detector meets the highest European safety standards and is certified and calibrated to EN 50194 (standard for electrical equipment for the detection of combustible gases) without the additional need for regular service calibration. The second generation sensor performs continuous air testing for the presence of dangerous levels of gas concentrations in the monitored area. The instrument is controlled by a state-of-the-art microprocessor that immediately sends a radio signal when a dangerous gas level is detected, activating both visual and audible alarms. Thus, SAFE 5YGAS - RF provides early warning of gas leaks and contributes to maximum protection of your home.
The detector includes an integrated RF module which, thanks to the CONNECTED function, allows two or more FireSAFE detectors to be connected wirelessly to create an interconnected wireless network. In this case, if one of the devices triggers an alarm, it will send out a radio signal and all other FireSAFE units connected in the network will respond to the alarm.
The Hub FireSAFE intelligent central control unit can be added to the wireless network. These units then enable convenient setup and control of the complex FireSAFE system remotely via an intuitive free mobile app (for Android and iOS) for smartphones, tablets and more. The Hub constantly monitors the status of all connected FireSAFE detectors and devices. As soon as it detects any danger, it immediately notifies system users, not only through push notifications, but also by triggering a loud and clear alarm with visual signalling directly in the FireSAFE mobile app. This way you are always informed in time and can react quickly to any threat.
SAFE 5YGAS has two control outputs (relay and pulse), which allow a wide range of installation options with emphasis on maximum safety. The outputs of the device offer direct connection and control of external components such as automatic valves for gas shut-off, alarm signaling elements, HVAC fans, electric locks, lighting and other devices used in alarm or automation systems. In this way, SAFE 5YGAS - RF provides not only reliable protection, but also wider flexibility to allow a higher degree of protection in the event of a gas leak detection.
Thanks to COM/NO relay output podporuje SAFE 5YGAS – RF možnost své integrace do zabezpečovacích nebo automatizačních systémů třetích stran. Stačí jednoduše připojit detektor k integračnímu modulu (transmitteru) daného systému a ten bude přijímat poplachový signál z detektoru SAFE 5YGAS – RF prostřednictvím drátového vstupu a předávat poplachová oznámení své centrální jednotce.
Většina hořlavých a výbušných plynů je za normálních okolností bez zápachu. Proto, aby byly snadno rozpoznatelné čichem v případě úniku, je většina plynů dobarvována (odorizována) speciálními chemickými látkami.
Ať už je plyn odoráván či nikoliv, senzor detektoru SAFE 5YGAS – RF je z výroby konfigurován pro spolehlivou detekci plynů tak, aby spustil poplach před dosažením určité hranice koncentrace, která v případě dalšího nárůstu představuje potenciální riziko ohrožení a bezpečně ochránil vaše zdraví a majetek.
V případě, že hlásič detekuje překročení stanovené mezní hodnoty plynu, automaticky spustí hlasitý akustický signál poplachu o síle 85 dB, doprovázený problikáváním červeného LED indikátoru na znamení signalizace požárního poplachu úniku plynu. Jde o cílené získání pozornosti osob nacházejících se v budově pomocí vysoké hladiny hluku a intenzivní LED signalizace na to, že v některé části objektu vzniká nebezpečná situace. Smyslem požárního poplachu je pak okamžitá reakce na alarmovou událost nebo přesun osob z místa mimořádné události do bezpečné zóny.
Elektronické součástky a deska plošných spojů detektoru je opatřena izolační a ochrannou vrstvou laku s nanočásticemi IZOVAX. Díky inovativní technologii polovodičového senzoru druhé generace lze na rozdíl od konvenčních detektorů plynů instalovat tato zařízení i do širokého spektra komplikovaných prostředí (koupelny, sušárny, sauny, technické místnosti, kuchyně, garáže, kotelny, dílny, sklady, laboratoře …), kde obvykle vlhkost nebo výpary negativně ovlivňují detekční funkce nebo samotnou životnost zařízení.
