SAFE 808L is an intelligent detector with voice alert and digital display, equipped with the latest second generation solid-state multifunction sensor technology for detection and early warning of almost all flammable and explosive gases (natural gas, methane, propane, butane). The device stands out for its stability, high sensitivity and long sensor lifetime.

For a more comfortable overview and control of the situation in case of an alarm, the SAFE 808L detector has a digital display under the light that shows the values of the detected combustible gas in ppm (millionths). The digital display allows its users to distinguish and compare low and high values of potential danger in order to react adequately to an emerging situation or to specify the concentration of a leak in the event of a report to a service organization.
It informs the user in a human voice (in Czech language) about the current status of the device such as "Welcome to the flammable gas detector, please wait 3 minutes, the device is initializing." In case of a detected danger, the detector's acoustic alarm signal is then accompanied by a repeated message informing about the detected danger: „PROSÍM POZOR! ÚNIK PLYNU!“.
The voice alert is thus a great assistant for the user to immediately distinguish informative messages issued by the device.
The multifunctional integrated sensor detector meets the highest European safety standards and is certified and calibrated to EN 50194 (standard for electrical equipment for the detection of flammable gases) without the additional need for periodic service calibration. The device is microprocessor controlled and signals gas leaks both optically and acoustically. The second generation sensor performs continuous air testing for the presence of dangerous levels of gas concentration in the monitored area.
Většina hořlavých a výbušných plynů je za normálních okolností bez zápachu. Proto, aby byly snadno rozpoznatelné čichem v případě úniku, je většina plynů dobarvována (odorizována) speciálními chemickými látkami. Ať už je plyn odoráván či nikoliv, senzor detektoru SAFE 808L je z výroby konfigurován pro spolehlivou detekci plynů tak, aby spustil poplach před dosažením určité hranice koncentrace, která v případě dalšího nárůstu představuje potenciální riziko ohrožení a bezpečně ochránil vaše zdraví a majetek.
The detector is equipped with a TEST button with a function that serves to artificially simulate the presence of gas and allows verification of the operability of internal circuits through an automatic efficiency monitoring system, verification of the acoustic signaling and LED warning light.
Polovodičové senzory katalytického spalování pro detekci hořlavých a výbušných plynů vyžadují konstantní napájení z elektrické sítě. Detektor SAFE 808L je napájen ze sítě 230V / AC, ale na rozdíl od většiny konvenčních hlásičů disponuje integrovaným rychlonabíjecím konvertorem a zásobníkem pro umístění záložní baterie 9V NiMH (standardně baterie není součástí balení), která poskytuje maximální ochranu po určitý interval v případě výpadku proudu elektrické sítě.
